Foster Helps Lubbock Cruise to 10-3 Win
|
A nice crowd turned out for a clash between the Lubbock Stampede and Little Rock Governors.
Aaron Foster was a vital contributor to the 10-3 Lubbock victory over Little Rock. The Stampede first baseman was 3 for 3 with a double, 2 singles, and 2 walks. He scored 3 times. The 5th-place Stampede sport a record of 39-40.
Lubbock relied on the hitting of Men Toronho to pick up the win. The catcher ripped a run-scoring triple in the top of the second inning to put the Stampede on top, 1-0. For the game, Toronho had 1 triple and 1 single in 5 at-bats.
