Mad Ants Pull Off Thrilling 6-5 Win in Extras
The Portland Mad Ants beat the Quebec Aces, 6-5, in 10 innings at Belmont Park. Portland catcher Matt Peters had an outstanding performance. He went 2 for 2 with a home run and 2 walks. He scored 3 runs. Portland is now 47-34.

Portland needed the clutch hitting of Josh Kelly to seal the deal. The shortstop swatted a solo home run in the top of the tenth inning to put the Mad Ants on top, 6-5. For the game, Kelly had 1 home run and 1 single in 5 at-bats.
