Though he had a stellar game, Brandon Hund could not prevent his team, the Laredo Ghosts, from losing, 5-3, to the Portland Mad Ants. Hund was 3 for 4 with a home run and 2 singles, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. With the win, Portland goes to 44-36, while the Ghosts fall to 32-48.

Portland took control in the bottom of the sixth. With two out and the bases loaded, Jody Maddix hit a 2-run single to make it 5-3, Mad Ants.

Maddix told the Portland Herald: "Win or lose, I don't want to see our team outhustled."
