Laredo Ghosts starter Andrew Braden turned in an exceptional performance against the Portland Mad Ants at Mad Ants Ballpark, resulting in a Laredo win, 4-2. Joe Iverson notched the win in relief. The right-hander allowed no runs on no hits in 1.1 innings. His record now sits at 3-3. Adam Appelbaum collected save number 11.

Brandon Hund, who is tied for 10th in the SC in stolen bases with 11, had a direct impact on the outcome. Hund contributed a 2-run single in the top of the ninth inning to put Laredo up, 4-2.

"Andrew executed his pitches at a high level," said Laredo manager Josh Miller.

The setback makes Portland 43-36.
