The Portland Mad Ants faced a tough opponent in Lubbock pitcher Gil Backos, but did just enough to pull out the victory at Mad Ants Ballpark by a final score of 7-3. Backos went 6 innings and allowed 3 runs. The losses continue to pile up for Lubbock, which has now fallen 14 times in a row.
