Quebec beat Hartford at Ballpark of Tacoma, eking out a 4-3 win. The triumph was primarily due to right fielder Justin Blaylock. He was 3 for 4 with a home run and 2 singles. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. Earning his 18th save for Quebec was Chris Foore. The Aces now own a record of 44-33.
With Quebec leading 2-1 in the top of the third, Blaylock batted against Hartford pitcher Gabe Vincent. Blaylock hit a fastball to right for a 2-run home run. His 3rd home run of the season put the Aces on top, 4-1.
"I like the vibe in the clubhouse after a win," said Blaylock. "It sure beats the alternative."
