Stampede Take Tight Tango, 3-2

Starting pitcher Edgar Minero gave the Lubbock Stampede a rock-solid performance, helping his team defeat the Montreal Royals, 3-2, at Reagor Dykes Stadium. The win went to Nick Wolfe in relief, making him now 3-2. Jay Yeiser took the loss for Montreal. Lubbock's winning streak has reached 5 games.
The decisive blow was delivered by Josh Kreisle in the bottom of the ninth when he hit a solo home run off 25-year old left-handed pitcher Jay Yeiser to win the game for Lubbock. The home crowd went nuts.
"This place was rocking at the end," Minero said.
