Quebec second baseman Steve Howard was instrumental in helping the Aces triumph, 5-3, over the Montreal Royals. Howard was 3 for 4 with a home run and 2 singles. The winner was Justin Baker, who threw 96 pitches over 6 innings. The left-hander was charged with 3 runs on 3 hits. Quebec is now 40-35, Montreal 31-44.
