The Joilet Jesters defeated the Glendale Muskies, 8-5. Third Baseman Bob de Leon deserved a large share of the credit. de Leon was 2 for 4 with a home run, a double, and a walk, while scoring 2 for the Jesters. Nick McKinney collected his 13th save. The Jesters sit in 5th place in the Stars Conference East Division with a record of 32-42.

Joilet needed the clutch hitting of Matt Anderson to seal the deal. The designated hitter swatted a 3-run home run in the top of the seventh inning to put the Jesters on top, 4-3. For the game, Anderson had 1 home run and 1 single in 5 at-bats.
