The Laredo Ghosts powered past the Glendale Muskies, 8-7, at Ghosts Ballpark. Matt Fishburn went 2-4 with a home run and a walk, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once, to lead the charge. Ethan Yarbrough was credited with the save for Laredo, his 13th of the season. Laredo now has a record of 39-31 with the win.

Fishburn contributed a big hit, a grand slam home run, for Laredo in the bottom of the eighth. With his team trailing 7-4, Fishburn took a fastball from Dave Holzman and stroked the home run to left. His 12th home run of the season allowed the Ghosts to leap in front, 8-7.

"We maximized our offense today," said Laredo skipper Josh Miller. "That makes everyone's life easier."
