Lasers Suffer 3-2 Road Loss
The Montreal Royals defeated the Nashville Lasers, 3-2, in Stars Conference action at Turtles Ballpark. Montreal pitcher Ryan Warren had a standout performance. Warren picked up the win for Montreal, going 7.1 innings. He gave up 2 runs on 6 hits. He now sports a record of 7-3. Vince Rice was called on to finish, recording his 5th save.

Firmino Fischetti hit a run-scoring triple off Chris Rumrill in the bottom of the seventh, which put the Royals in front, 2-1. Fischetti had 1 single, in addition to the triple. For the game, he went 2 for 4.

"I tell our guys all the time, 'Every pitch is the right pitch if you put it in the right place, you believe in it and have conviction,'" Montreal manager Bobby White said.

The win for the Royals lifted their record to 47-23.
