Red-Hot Tailgators Win Again
|
Chesapeake right-hander Josh Harris pitched his team to victory over the Glendale Muskies at Tailgators Ballpark. The final score was 4-1. Harris got the win, improving to 1-0. He gave up 6 hits and walked 0 over 7 innings. He allowed 1 run. Nick Douglass finished the game for Chesapeake and earned his 9th save.
Cesar Ornelas dealt the Muskies a blow in the bottom of the sixth. Batting with the bases loaded and Chesapeake leading 2-1, Ornelas hit a first pitch cutter for a run-scoring single.
"I was able to fill up the zone," said Harris.
Chesapeake has now won 8 games in a row.
