The Montreal Royals defeated the Lubbock Stampede, 8-2. Doing his part was designated hitter David Hollick, who went 3-4 with a home run and a double. He scored 2 times and drove in 2. Early in the game, Hollick had a 2-run home run for Montreal. It was his 15th home run of the season and put the Royals on top, 4-2.
