Ghosts Suffer 7-3 Road Loss
The Montreal Royals defeated the Laredo Ghosts, 7-3, in Stars Conference action at Turtles Ballpark. Montreal pitcher Lee Morgan had a standout performance. Montreal, at 34-33, holds down third place in the Stars Conference East Division.

Montreal shortstop Jimmy Jones contributed a timely at-bat in the bottom of the second. With two down, he hit a fastball to center field for a 2-run single. It was his 49th hit of the season and put the Royals ahead, 2-0.

"Winning never gets dull," said Jones.
