Tailgators Lose to Aces in Walk-Off
|
Thanks in large part to first baseman John Oglesby, the Quebec Aces beat the Chesapeake Tailgators, 4-3. Oglesby went 5 for 5 with a home run, 4 singles, and a walk. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. The winner was Adam Bowman in relief. His record improves to 3-2. Corey Baker took the loss. The Aces improved their record to 29-40 by beating Chesapeake.
Oglesby delivered a run-scoring walk in the bottom of the 11th to win it for Quebec. In the contest, Oglesby went 5-5 with a home run, 4 singles, and a walk. He drove in 3 runs and scored once.
"I keep on showing up every day and trying to put up good at-bats and find good pitches to hit," said Oglesby.
