The Joilet Jesters picked up a win at Field of the Muskies, dropping the Glendale Muskies, 3-1. Jaylin Moyer, who leads the SC with a 2.08 ERA, was the difference-maker. Earning his 10th save for Joilet was Jeff Horn. Joilet has a record of 36-32, placing them 4th in the Stars Conference East Division.
Zach Williard, who was drafted in the 2nd round of the 2019 draft, had a direct impact on the outcome. Williard contributed a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the top of the seventh inning to put Joilet up, 3-1.
"Nice win for us," said Williard. "Now we'll go after the next one."
