Glendale 4-2 Losers to Ghosts
|
The Laredo Ghosts picked up a win at Field of the Muskies, defeating the Glendale Muskies, 4-2. Starting pitcher John Brown was an essential part of his team's success. Joe McLaughlin got the save, the 14th for him this season. Laredo currently is in 4th place in the Stars Conference West Division at 37-32.
Laredo used the hitting of Marcus Walkden to pick up the win. The shortstop clubbed a solo home run in the top of the second inning to put the Ghosts on top, 2-0. For the game, Walkden had 1 home run and 1 single in 3 at-bats.
"I tried to mix it up, keep them off balance," said Brown.
