Behind a solid performance from third baseman David Lovell, the Quebec Aces defeated the Laredo Ghosts, 8-7. Lovell was 3-4 with a double and 2 singles, while scoring 3 for the Aces. The save went to Jose Ceballos, his 4th this season. The 'W' lifts Quebec's record to 37-29.

Quebec took the lead, 8-7, on Dave Pimenta's 9th home run of the season. The 3-run home run came off Laredo pitcher Sam Spivey in the bottom of the eighth.
