The Joilet Jesters beat the Laredo Ghosts, 9-6, at Ballpark of Joilet. Joilet first baseman Sean Heichel, who is tied for 4th in the SC in runs scored with 38, collected 1 single and 2 doubles with 3 RBI. The win went to Kyle O'Hare in relief, making him now 4-1. Vic Vance took the loss for Laredo. Jeff Horn picked up the save for Joilet, his 9th of the year.
In the bottom of the eighth, Heichel put his team in front with his 20th double of the season. The run-scoring double, which came against Vic Vance, made it 7-6, Joilet.
"I was just going up there trying to see good pitches, that was about it," said Heichel.
The Jesters are now 35-29.
