Fremont turned a good effort from starter Mark Luby into a win over the Glendale Muskies at Hedgehogs Park. The Marshalls won the game, 2-1. Fremont pitcher Ruben Torres earned the win, hiking his record to 4-3. Dylan Diggs suffered the loss. The Marshalls improved their record to 41-21 by beating Glendale.

In the bottom of the eighth, Fremont third baseman David Lovell gave his team the lead. With two out and a runner on 2nd, Gimp hit his 3rd home run of the year. Glendale pitcher Dylan Diggs surrendered it. With that, the Marshalls jumped in front, 2-1.

"Mark just settled in and did what he does," said Fremont manager Matt Blade.
