Visiting Matadors Beat Muskies, 4-1
|
Hartford Matadors pitcher Scott Johnson was all business, helping his team muzzle the Glendale Muskies, 4-1. The 'W' lifts Hartford's record to 33-27.
The Matadors got a big at-bat from third baseman Kevin Cremo. For the game, Cremo was 1 for 4 with a home run, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. In the top of the first, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 13th home run of the season gave Hartford a 2-0 lead.
"Just trying to help my team," said Cremo. "That's all I want."
