Tailgators Trip Jesters, 3-2, in Extra Innings
The Chesapeake Tailgators snuck past the Joilet Jesters, 3-2, in 15 innings. Chesapeake pitcher Nick Douglass, in particular, had a standout performance. The win belonged to Frank Howerton in relief. His record improves to 1-2. Micah Morgan took the loss for Joilet. Chesapeake, at 28-31, holds down 4th place in the Stars Conference East Division.

Chesapeake got a clutch hit from Jerry Milton. The catcher socked a solo home run in the bottom of the 15th inning to win the game. It was his only hit in 2 at-bats, but it was game-ender.

"We put together a nice win," Milton said.
