Royals Pull Off Thrilling 8-6 Win in Extras
The Montreal Royals needed 10 innings to defeat the Baxter Springs Marshals, 8-6, at Turtles Ballpark. Montreal right fielder Francisco Garcia had a superb performance. He was 1 for 3 with a home run. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. With the victory, the Royals upped their record to 38-20.

Montreal got a clutch hit from David Hollick. The designated hitter launched a 2-run home run in the bottom of the tenth inning to win the game. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a kill shot.

"It doesn't matter if you're 10 games over .500 or 10 games under, it feels good to win," Garcia told the Montreal Citizen.
