Muskies Lose By a Run at Chesapeake
The Chesapeake Tailgators overcame a good performance by Glendale first baseman Javy Villapando to knock off Glendale, 5-4, at Tailgators Ballpark. Villapando went 3-4 with 3 singles. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. The save went to John Gray, his 5th this season. Chesapeake is 16-41 and Glendale, with the loss, 31-26.

Chesapeake took a 5-4 lead on Kevin Cimini's 7th double of the season. The 2-run double, which Cimini hit in the bottom of the seventh, left Glendale pitcher Mike Brandon visibly frustrated.

"Nice to tuck this win away," said Cimini.
