Lasers Win, 7-3, Extend Streak to 4 Games
|
The Nashville Lasers welcomed the Hartford Matadors to an night game at Lasers Ballpark.
The Nashville Lasers finished off the Hartford Matadors, 7-3. Much of the credit belonged to second baseman Brad Stein. Stein was 3-4 with a home run and a double. He scored 2 times and drove in 2 for the Lasers. Scott Turner collected save number 5.
The Lasers got a big at-bat from third baseman Hector Nunez. For the game, Nunez went 1-4 with a home run, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once. In the bottom of the fourth, with the bases loaded, he stroked a grand slam home run. His 3rd home run of the season gave Nashville a 5-2 lead.
"They beat us fair and square," Hartford skipper Jesse Heugly said.
The second-place Lasers have won 4 in a row.
