Glendale center fielder Ray Alleyne was sensational. He was 2 for 4 with 2 home runs, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice. But it wasn't enough to rally his team to a win. Baxter Springs beat the Muskies, 5-4. Evan Edelstein picked up the win in relief for Baxter Springs, while John Keefe took the loss. The Marshals have an impressive 37-19 record.

The game was at a stalemate until pinch hitter Johnny Pullam came to bat in the bottom of the eighth. Facing Glendale pitcher John Keefe, he hit a full count cutter for a run-scoring single. It was a game-changer, putting Baxter Springs on top, 5-4.
