Mad Ants Take Tight Tangle
The Portland Mad Ants earned a close win over the Joilet Jesters, thanks in part to Casey Danis. The Portland right-hander played a key role in the 11-inning, 2-1 victory. By defeating Joilet, the third-place Mad Ants improved to 32-21.

Portland got a jolt from Matt Leonard. The right fielder ripped a solo home run in the bottom of the 11th inning to win the game. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it brought the house down.

"When you put in the effort and you get really focused, the results come in ways you're not even expecting," said Mad Ants manager Will Berman.
