Matadors Walk It Off for 34th Win of Season
The Hartford Matadors earned a close win over the Nashville Lasers, thanks in part to Alberto Renteria. The Hartford right-hander played a key role in the 3-2 victory. The first-place Matadors go to 34-19.

The decisive blow was delivered by George Kinder in the bottom of the ninth when he hit a run-scoring double off 27-year old right-handed pitcher Joe Faulkner to win the game for Hartford. The home crowd went nuts.

"Winning in the last at-bat, there's nothing else like it," said Renteria.
