						Stampede Shut Out Lasers, 2-0
					 |

Lubbock got a first-rate effort from pitcher Edgar Minero, who frustrated Nashville hitters en route to a 2-0 Stampede triumph at Lasers Ballpark. In 5 innings, Minero surrendered 3 hits, while striking out 6 and walking 2. He allowed no runs. Rick Ways earned the save for Lubbock, his 9th.
Tyler Reese, who leads the SC in triples with 4, had a direct impact on the outcome. Reese contributed a run-scoring walk in the top of the seventh inning to put Lubbock up, 2-0.
"It's about putting our team in the best position to win ballgames," said Minero.
The third-place Stampede sport a record of 29-20.
