The Laredo Ghosts handed the Joilet Jesters a 6-5 loss in 12 innings at Ghosts Ballpark. Tony Ivanez, who leads the SC in bases on balls with 33, was the star on offense. He went 2-5 with a home run and 2 walks, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2. The Ghosts bumped their record to 26-20 with this win.

The Ghosts got a clutch hit from designated hitter Brad Largent. In the bottom of the 12th, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Ghosts.

"Always feels extra good winning this kind of game," said Largent.
