The Quebec Aces beat the Laredo Ghosts at Belmont Park. The final score was 5-4, in favor of Quebec. Matt Budish led the way, going 4-for-4 for the home team. The win went to Adam Bowman in relief. His record improves to 1-0. Butch Saulters took the loss. The last-place Aces now have a win-loss record of 19-27.

A defensive lapse proved costly in the contest. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth, an error by the Ghosts allowed the Aces to score the winning run.
