						Stampede Win, 6-4, Versus Fremont
					 |

The Lubbock Stampede spoiled a good performance by Fremont first baseman Nate Springs, bumping off Fremont, 6-4, at Reagor Dykes Stadium. Springs was 2 for 3 with 2 singles and a walk, while scoring 2. Lubbock is now 28-20.
Lubbock took a 6-4 lead on Steve Howard's 4th double of the season. The 2-run double, which Howard hit in the bottom of the eighth, left Fremont pitcher Jeremiah Porter visibly frustrated.
"We ground out the win," said Howard. "That's all that matters."
