Right Fielder Blake goes 3-for-4 in Portland Win
The Portland Mad Ants beat the Hartford Matadors, 6-2, at Ballpark of Tacoma. Portland left fielder Jerry Blake led the way. He went 3-4 with a home run and a double, while scoring 2 and driving in 4. So far in 2026, Portland is 21-25.

With Portland leading 1-0 in the top of the third, Blake hit a fastball from Mike Hernandez for a run-scoring double. It was his 10th double of the season and put the Mad Ants ahead, 2-0.

"Win or lose, we pick each other up in this clubhouse," Blake told the Portland Observer.
