The Fremont Marshalls took Hartford pitcher Tony Morales's best shot and still were able to claim a win at Hedgehogs Park. The final score had Fremont getting past the Matadors, 3-2. Morales went 6 innings and allowed 1 run, striking out 5. Fremont leads the Stars Conference West Division by 5 games.

Kyle Stansberry was the walk-off hero for Fremont. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Marshalls first baseman hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"It's a thrill to get that kind of win," Stansberry said.
