Jaheim Jennings was nothing short of phenomenal for the Portland Mad Ants. The 23-year-old right-hander was a big reason his team beat the Montreal Royals, 8-1. The Mad Ants bumped their record to 26-20 with this latest triumph.

Jaden York took Montreal hurler Travis Anderson deep in the bottom of the first. His 2-run home run put the Mad Ants on top, 2-0. In all, York had 2 singles in addition to the home run, while going 3 for 4.

"Jaheim set the tone," said Will Berman, the Mad Ants manager.
