Nashville starter Sean Hill pitched well against the Hartford Matadors at Lasers Ballpark. The right-hander led his team to a win, 3-2. Malcolm Freeman recorded his 9th save for Nashville. The Lasers improved their record to 25-18 with the win over Hartford.

Making an impact for Nashville was left fielder Lee Peck. He drilled a double off Alberto Renteria in the bottom of the fifth. For the game, Peck went 1 for 3 with a double.
