Big Day for Davies in 7-3 Matadors Win
|
The Hartford Matadors beat the Quebec Aces, 7-3, at Belmont Park. Hartford third baseman Chris Davies, who is tied for 4th in the SC in bases on balls with 27, collected 3 singles and 1 double with 2 RBI. Hartford, having won 11 in a row, is now 29-16.
Who knows how it might've ended, had it not been for Jeremy Comey? The Hartford right fielder had a 2-run double in the top of the second inning to put the Matadors on top, 2-0. For the game, Comey had 1 double and 1 single in 4 at-bats.
