Aces Sneak Past Ghosts, 3-2

The home crowd had a good time watching the Laredo Ghosts and Quebec Aces get after it.
The Laredo Ghosts got a superb performance from pitcher Paul Reining. Still, it wasn't enough to beat Quebec. The Aces won the game, 3-2. Reining threw 7.0 innings of 4-hit ball. Kevin Morris recorded the save for Quebec, his 11th of the season.
Walt Lepore, who is tied for 9th in the SC in home runs with 8, came through for Quebec with a 2-run double in the bottom of the eighth. The second baseman went 2 for 4 for the game, including 1 home run and 1 double. He scored 1 run and collected 3 runs batted in.
"If you ever get this game figured out," said Laredo manager Josh Miller, "let me know."
The win elevated the Aces to 24-18.
