Mays Delivers Walk-Off Win for Marshalls
The Fremont Marshalls topped the Laredo Ghosts, 5-4, in Stars Conference action at Hedgehogs Park. The game was highlighted by the performance of Fremont pitcher Terence Rodda. Fremont reliever Jonathan Reeher picked up the win, upping his record to 3-2. Frank Stroud took the loss. The Marshalls improved their record to 19-23 by beating Laredo.

Collin Mays played the role of hero for Fremont. In the bottom of the ninth, he launched a solo home run off Frank Stroud to win the game. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was the decisive blow.

"I want us to come out, have fun, hit some balls, and score. We're having a tough time," said Josh Miller, the Laredo manager.
