Ghosts Earn 8-7 Win Against Mad Ants
The Laredo Ghosts beat the Portland Mad Ants, 8-7 -- though it took them 11 innings. Laredo left fielder Brandon Hund had a pretty good game. He was 2 for 5 with a home run and a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. The win went to Ethan Yarbrough in relief. His record improves to 3-3. Dane Roberts took the loss. Laredo is second in the Stars Conference West Division with a record of 23-17.

The Ghosts got a clutch hit from catcher Fred Pachner. In the bottom of the 11th, he hit a run-scoring single to center, to win the game for the Ghosts.

"Walking a team off at the end -- there's no greater feeling," said Hund.
