Vincent Bewilders Aces in 4-0 Shutout
In an outstanding mound performance, Hartford Matadors starter Gabe Vincent fired a complete-game shutout against the Quebec Aces at Belmont Park.

Vincent was the key to the 4-0 Hartford win. The 31-year-old left-hander was in high spirits for much of the game, his mood largely unfazed by the 4 hits and 2 walks he allowed.

"4 hits?" he said with a laugh following the game. "Listen, I'd be happy with a 30-hitter, as long as it was a shutout."

Vincent has made 8 starts so far this year and put up a 6-2 won-lost record with a 1.49 ERA. In 60.1 innings he has allowed 38 hits, walked 25 and struck out 48.
