Wynn goes 4-for-4 to Ignite Tailgators Offense

The Chesapeake Tailgators beat the Hartford Matadors, 8-4, at Ballpark of Tacoma. Chesapeake catcher Kevin Wynn had an outstanding performance. He was 4 for 4 with 4 singles, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2. Jon Sullivan, the winning pitcher, is now 2-4. He went 7 innings, allowing 4 runs on 8 hits, while fanning 3 and walking 1. The Tailgators now have a record of 15-23 with the win over Hartford.
The game was all tied up in the top of the eighth, until Wynn delivered big-time for Chesapeake, stroking a dramatic run-scoring single off Everton Jackson. The game-changing hit put the Tailgators on top, 5-4.
"I give credit to my teammates for this win. We got it done," Wynn told the Chesapeake Daily News.
