Quebec shortstop Rich Simmer had 4 ribbies while helping his team defeat the Lubbock Stampede, 14-4. The 5th-place Aces now have a record of 20-15.

With Quebec leading 4-3 in the bottom of the third, Simmer hit a curveball from Armando Ramirez for a grand slam home run. It was his 2nd home run of the season and put the Aces ahead, 8-3.

"We'll try to build on that win," Simmer told the Quebec News.
