The Laredo Ghosts beat the Glendale Muskies, 5-4, in part because of third baseman Corey Pryor. He was 3-4 with 2 home runs and a double. He scored 3 times and drove in 3. The win went to Butch Saulters in relief, making him now 3-0. Nick Chinn took the loss for Glendale. Joe McLaughlin recorded the save, his 5th.

Marcus Walkden helped out the Laredo cause in the bottom of the sixth inning with a run-scoring single. For the game, the shortstop was 1-3 with a walk.

"Every time I go up there, I try and hit a ball hard," said Pryor.

With the win, Laredo raised its record to 18-16.
