The Glendale Muskies got a good effort from starter Bob Garbee in defeating the Joilet Jesters at Ballpark of Joilet. The final score was 6-2. Glendale sits in last place in the Stars Conference West Division at 15-21.

Juan Lira had a big 2-run double for the Muskies in the top of the second inning. With Glendale leading 2-0 and runners on 1st and 2nd, he got a fastball from Jake Triplett, who is tied for 2nd in the SC in complete games with 1, and swatted a double to left. It was his 4th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Muskies ahead, 4-0.

"Feels good to get the job done," Lira said after the game.
