Marshals Earn Win with Late Rally
A good performance from shortstop Alan McConnell helped the Baxter Springs Marshals defeat the Chesapeake Tailgators, 5-4. McConnell was 2-4 with 2 home runs for the Marshals. The win belonged to Jeremy Reyner in relief. His record improves to 1-0. John Gray took the loss for Chesapeake. Baxter Springs has won 3 straight, while Chesapeake has lost 3 in a row.
