Montreal Rallies for 4-2 Win
|
Montreal Canadiens starter Kevin Sicola turned in an exceptional performance against the Portland Mad Ants at Mad Ants Ballpark, resulting in a Montreal win, 4-2. Montreal has a record of 11-20, placing them last in the Stars Conference East Division.
Montreal won the game in part because of Jared Staley. The right fielder ripped a solo home run in the top of the eighth inning to put the Canadiens ahead, 3-2. For the game, Staley had 1 double and 1 home run in 4 at-bats.
"Kevin was able to locate to both sides, up and down," said Montreal manager Danny Mendez.
