Muskies Pick Up 4-2 Win
|
The Glendale Muskies called upon starter Terry Droubay, and he delivered, leading his team to victory over the Hartford Matadors, 4-2. Droubay, now 2-2, was the winner. In 7.1 innings, he gave up 6 hits, while striking out 5, walking 4, and allowing 2 runs. Rich Gonzalez was credited with the save for Glendale, his 2nd of the season.
Sean Languell's at-bat in the top of the fourth inning was a big one for Glendale. Coming to bat with no one out, the bases loaded and Glendale trailing 2-0, the right fielder hit a 2-run single.
"We put together a nice win," Droubay said.
The Muskies sit in last place in the Stars Conference West Division with a record of 15-18.
