No one was more impactful than Brock Farlow in the 5-4 Lubbock win over Portland. Farlow went 2 for 3 with a triple and a walk, while scoring 3. Picking up his 11th save was fireballing right-hander Paul Garcia. The Mad Ants drop to 14-14 and continue their inconsistent start to the 2021 season.

Making an impact for the home team was Danny Emery. In the bottom of the second, the 29-year old center fielder had a run-scoring hit-by-pitch. That made the score 2-0, Stampede.

"If we play like this, we can win a lot of games," Emery told the Lubbock Times.
