The Portland Mad Ants downed the Lubbock Stampede, 5-3. The hitting star was second baseman Neil Zander. Zander was 4-4 with a home run and 2 doubles, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once for the Mad Ants. The Stampede drop to 14-14 and continue their inconsistent start to the 2024 season.

Zander contributed in the bottom of the fourth. With runners on 1st and 2nd, he hit a run-scoring double. It was one at-bat among others that helped Portland get the win.
