Ghosts Topple Canadiens, 4-2

Both teams had their opportunities, but in the end, the Laredo Ghosts got the win.
The Laredo Ghosts converted a terrific effort from starter Cory Langan into a win over the Montreal Canadiens at Ghosts Ballpark. The Ghosts won the game by a final score of 4-2. Langan, the winner, moves to 2-0. He threw 6 innings of 2-hit ball, while fanning 6 and giving up 6 walks.
Jake Way, who was drafted in the 2nd round of the 2019 draft, chipped in a 2-run home run for Laredo in the bottom of the fourth. For the game, the right fielder had 2 hits in 5 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 1 run scored, and 2 runs batted in.
"It takes a lot of things to win a ballgame," said Laredo manager Josh Miller. "It's usually not just one thing."
The 4th-place Canadiens have dropped 4 straight games.
