The Baxter Springs Marshals downed the Chesapeake Tailgators, 8-4, at Tailgators Ballpark. Ross Dorough led the way, going 4-for-5 for Baxter Springs. Picking up the win was John Pyles. He went 7.1 innings, allowing 3 runs on 6 hits. The right--hander struck out 3 and walked 4. The Tailgators fall to 9-17 and continue their unimpressive start to the 2021 season.
