Marshalls Lose By a Run at Hartford
Behind the hitting of Brad MacNeil, the Hartford Matadors defeated the Fremont Marshalls, 3-2. MacNeil was 2-4 with a home run and a double. He drove in 3 runs and scored once for the Matadors. The loss drops Fremont to 10-13.

Hartford took a 2-0 lead on MacNeil's 1st home run of the season. The 2-run home run, which he hit off Brian Gay in the bottom of the sixth, propelled Hartford to the win.

MacNeil said the team appreciates the support from the fans. "I'm glad we could reward them with a good win," he said after the game.
