Portland used a superb performance from starting pitcher Kevin Kovach to down the Glendale Muskies, 4-1, in 10 innings. Glendale falls to 13-10.

Kovach gave Portland a first-rate performance. The 6-foot-2 left-hander permitted 1 run on 1 hit over 8 innings of work.
