Matadors Topple Mad Ants, 4-1, as Cremo Shines
The rain did not keep Hartford and Portland from finishing their game.

Kevin Cremo left his imprint on the 4-1 Hartford win against the Portland Mad Ants. Cremo, who leads the SC in home runs with 7, slugged 2 home runs. He drove in 3 runs and scored twice. Mario Ruiz earned his 2nd save, after closing out the game.

Cremo had a game-changing home run in the top of the seventh. On a first pitch fastball from Andy Baker, he banged a solo home run to left-center, giving the Matadors a 1-0 lead. It was the 7th home run of the year for Cremo.

"We cashed in when we had the chance," said Hartford manager Jesse Heugly.

The win gives the Matadors a record of 12-10.
