Muskies Drop Close One Late
The Laredo Ghosts locked up a win at Ghosts Ballpark, knocking off the Glendale Muskies, 4-3. On the mound for Laredo was right-hander Byron Stanton. He played a major role in the triumph. The win went to John Bonnell in relief. His record improves to 1-1. Ivan Medina took the loss. The Ghosts, now 15-7, have played some good baseball in the early going.

Brent Hauke was the walk-off hero for Laredo. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Ghosts pinch hitter hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"We were the better team," crowed Stanton.
